Mr. Kyaw Nyun Oo, Chargé d´Affaires/ Ambassador of the Embassy of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, together with the Heads of Missions of the ASEAN Member States in Paris, participated in the meeting of the ASEAN Committee in Paris (ACP), which was chaired by the Ambassador of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic at 1000 hrs (local time) on 28 January 2026. During the meeting, the newly arrived Ambassadors of Myanmar and Singapore made introductory remarks, and the Heads of Missions of the ASEAN Member States exchanged views on the ACP’s activities over the past months and the upcoming program, the outcomes of ASEAN during Malaysia's Chairmanship in 2025 and the updates of ASEAN’s activities in 2026 under the Chairmanship of the Philippines. The meeting was concluded with the Lao Ambassador handing over the ACP Chairmanship to the incoming Chair, the Ambassador of Malaysia.
