Chargé d’affaires a.i / Ambassador of Myanmar to Vietnam H.E. U Wai Linn attended the Opening Ceremony of the 35th Vietnam International Trade Fair which is hosted by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam and the Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency in the morning on 8 April 2026 at Vietnam Exposition Center (VEC) in Hanoi.
After the opening ceremony, H.E. U Wai Linn explored the display international pavilions, including Myanmar display booths set up by the Myanmar Gems & Jewellery Entrepreneurs Association – YGJEAY (Yangon). It’s learnt that the Trade Fair will be held for (4) days from 8 to 11 April 2026, with the participation of 500 booths from more than 420 enterprises representing 20 countries and, with the collaboration of the Ministry of Commerce of Myanmar and the YGJEAY, 4 booths from twelve Myanmar Jewellery shops showcase Myanmar jade, gems and pearls at the Trade Fair.
