Chargé d'affaires a.i / Ambassador of Myanmar to Vietnam H.E. U Wai Linn attended the ASEAN Flag hoisting ceremony on the occasion of the 58th anniversary of the founding of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam on 8 August 2025 at 07:30 hrs at its Headquarters. The ceremony commenced with the raising of the ASEAN flag along with the playing of ASEAN anthem. It was followed by remarks of the Deputy Foreign Minister of Viet Nam, H.E. Mr. Nguyen Minh Vu highlighting the historic success of ASEAN over the past 58 years. Also presence at the ceremony were Ambassadors and Chargés d'affaires from ASEAN and partner countries as well as the senior officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Viet Nam and the Hanoi People’s Committee.
