Chargé d'affaires a.i. / Ambassador of Myanmar to Vietnam H.E. U Wai Linn paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mr. Jaya Ratnam, Singapore Ambassador to Vietnam on 9 September 2025 at 16:00 hrs at the Singapore Embassy in Hanoi. During the meeting, they cordially exchanged views on matters pertaining to the further promotion of the friendly bilateral ties between Myanmar and Singapore, continued cooperation under the ASEAN framework as well as heighten collaboration between the two embassies to contribute to the shared interests of the two countries. Moreover, H.E. U Wai Linn also briefed the Singapore Ambassador on the preparations for the upcoming general elections in Myanmar. As a gesture of friendship, he presented a traditional Myanmar souvenir to the Singapore Ambassador.
