H.E. U Wai Linn, Chargé d'affaires a.i / Ambassador of Myanmar to Vietnam participated in a Joint Call on H.E. Mr. Le Hoai Trung, Acting Foreign Minister of Viet Nam, along with the Heads of Missions of ASEAN Embassies and the Timor-Leste Embassy based in Hanoi at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Viet Nam on 11 September 2025. During the call, the Acting Foreign Minister updated on Viet Nam’s socio-economic achievements and outlook of its political and diplomatic orientations while affirming Viet Nam’s regard for ASEAN as a strategic priority in its Foreign Policy and its commitment to work closely with other ASEAN member states. The Heads of ASEAN Missions extended their congratulations and best wishes for the further success of Acting Foreign Minister while the Ambassador of Malaysia H.E. Dato Tan Yang Thai, on behalf of the Ambassadors and Chargés d'affaires a.i of ASEAN, shared their continued commitment to enhance the bilateral ties and ASEAN cooperation.
