The Chargé d’Affaires a.i./Ambassador of the Embassy of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar in Kuala Lumpur attended the Meeting of Governors and Mayors of ASEAN Capitals 2025, held at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre. The event was attended by the Governors and Mayors from ASEAN capitals, with Timor-Leste participating as an observer. The meeting was held under the theme “ASEAN Future Cities and Regions: Inclusivity and Sustainability”, and the meeting served as a platform for participants to exchange views and share insights on key issues, including climate adaptation, resilience, effective waste management, and sustainable urban development strategies.
