Ambassador of Myanmar Visits TBEA Group Co., Ltd. in Tianjin to Discuss Energy Cooperation (23-6-2025)

His Excellency U Tin Maung Swe, Ambassador of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar to the People’s Republic of China, paid a visit to the Tianjin Headquarters of TBEA Electrical Group Co., Ltd. at the company’s invitation. During the visit, company representatives provided a comprehensive overview of TBEA’s successful electrical projects in multiple countries, including Pakistan, the Philippines, Tajikistan, India, Bangladesh, Kyrgyzstan, Angola, Zambia, and Myanmar. TBEA was recognized as an eco-friendly, technologically advanced enterprise specializing in the production of transformers, cables and wires, as well as power planning and grid construction. Following the presentation, Ambassador U Tin Maung Swe held a meeting with Mr. Liu Zhiyong, Director of the International Operations Department of TBEA, at the Taishan Hall of the International Convention Center. Mr. Liu highlighted TBEA’s extensive experience as a high-end electrical technology company capable of undertaking diverse power projects and expressed the company’s willingness to strengthen cooperation with Myanmar in the energy sector. Ambassador U Tin Maung Swe expressed his honor in visiting TBEA’s Tianjin Headquarters and explained Myanmar’s growing electricity demands. He noted that TBEA’s expertise could bring significant benefits to Myanmar’s energy development. Emphasizing the importance of balanced and mutually beneficial cooperation, the Ambassador affirmed that such a partnership would yield a great success. Both sides engaged in an open and cordial exchange of views on potential collaboration in the electrical projects, underscoring their shared commitment to fostering sustainable development through technological and infrastructural advancements.
