H.E. Mr. Zaw Oo, Ambassador of Myanmar to India, met Shri B. Shyam, Joint Secretary of BM [Bangladesh, Myanmar] Division at the Ministry of External Affairs in New Delhi on 11 September 2025. During the call, they cordially exchanged views on matters pertaining to the further strengthening the long-standing friendly and neighborly relations between Myanmar and India, expanding the use of the Kyat-Rupee payment system in bilateral trade, and increasing bilateral cooperation particularly in the areas of trade, economic engagement, and border area management.
