H.E. U Zaw Oo, Ambassador of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar to India, attended the 1st edition of the BIMSTEC Traditional Music Festival 2025 held at the Plenary Hall, Baharat Mandapam in New Delhi, on 4th August at 6:00 PM, along with Ambassadors from BIMSTEC member countries. The Festival was organized by the Ministry of External Affairs and Indian council for Cultural relations of the Government of the Republic of India. H.E. Dr. S. Jaishankar, Minister of External Affairs of the Republic of India, attended the music festival as a chief guest and delivered a welcome remark. Artists from India, Bangladesh, Butan, Myanmar, Nepal, Srilanka and Thailand performed at the musical evening. Afterwards, Myanmar Ambassador H.E. U Zaw Oo presented a congratulatory bouquet to the Myanmar artists from the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Culture and took commemorative photos.
