The 6th Meeting of the Task Force to facilitate the provision of Humanitarian Assistance to Myanmar through the AHA Centre (ASEAN Coordinating Centre for Humanitarian Assistance on Disaster Management) was held at 1000 hrs on 8 April 2022 at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Nay Pyi Taw.
The Meeting was chaired by H.E. U Ko Ko Hlaing, Union Minister for International Cooperation and Chairman of Myanmar Task Force. The Meeting was also attended by Vice Chairpersons of Task Force, H.E. Dr. Thet Khaing Win, Union Minister for Health and H.E. Dr. Thet Thet Khaing, Union Minister for Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement and members of Myanmar Task Force from respective ministries.
During the Meeting, H.E. U Ko Ko Hlaing led the discussions on matters related to the convening of Consultative Meeting for provision of humanitarian assistance in phase 2 as well as distribution of humanitarian assistance to the people in need across the country.
The Task Force Vice Chairpersons, Union Ministers and members also exchanged views on the preparation for swift and smooth implementation of the provision of humanitarian assistance for Phase-2.
