H.E. U Zaw Zaw Soe, Ambassasdor of Myanmar to Thailand, receives H.E. Mr. Hari Prabowo, Ambassador of Indonesia to Thailand, at the Embassy of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar in Bangkok on 26 March 2026, at 09:30 hrs. During the courtesy call, the two ambassadors cordially exchanged views on matters related to further strengthening of the existing bilateral relations between Myanmar and Indonesia, enhancing cooperation for the mutual benefit of the friendly people of both nations, and fostering closer collaboration between the two embassies regarding ASEAN-related affairs to ensure continued regional stability and growth. Ambassador of Indonesia was apprised of the recent successful conclusion of free and fair General Election of Myanmar and political transition with the commencement of parliament to take orderly steps to form a new government. Myanmar Ambassador also underscored the strategic imperative of solidarity among the regional countries amidst contemporary geopolitical dynamics and emerging challenges.
