Prime Minister of the Union of Myanmar Lt-Gen Soe Win received Prime Minister of the Republic of Singapore Mr Lee Hsien Loong at Zeyathiri Beikman on Konmyinttha, here, at 3 pm today.
Also present on the occasion were Minister for National Planning and Economic Development U Soe Tha, Minister for Commerce Brig-Gen Tin Naing Thein, Minister for Foreign Affairs U Nyan Win, Minister for Hotels and Tourism Brig-Gen Thein Zaw, Minister for Transport Maj-Gen Thein Swe, Minister for Science and Technology and for Labour U Thaung, Deputy Ministers for Foreign Affairs U Kyaw Thu and U Maung Myint, Deputy Minister for Education Brig-Gen Aung Myo Min, Myanmar Ambassador to Singapore U Hla Than, Director-General U Soe Tint at the Prime Minister’s Office, Director-General U Thaung Tun of the Political Department and Director-General Thura U Aung Htet of the Protocol Department.
The Singaporean Prime Minister was accompanied by Minister for Foreign Affairs Mr George Yeo and Singaporean Ambassador Mr Thambynathan Jasudasen.
