Myanmar Asean Women’s Friendship Association donated cash to Central Women’s Hospital (Yangon) at the hospital on 29 March 2005.

Present on the occasion were members of panel of patrons of MAWFA wives of ministers and deputy ministers, wives of foreign ambassadors to Myanmar led by Philippine Ambassador Mme Phoebe A Gomez, officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the medical superintendent and officials of the hospital and guests.

First, Chairperson of MAWFA Daw Khin Hnin Nyunt explained the purpose of the donations of Medical Superintendent Dr Shwe Oh accepted K 1 million presented by officials of MAWFA and gave away certificates of honour to them.
