Deputy FM leaves for Singapore

Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs U Maung Myint left here by air to attend Asia Middle-East Dialogue (AMED) which will be held in Singapore from 20 to 22 June 2005. The Deputy Minister was accompanied by U Phae Than Oo, Deputy Director-General of the Political Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, U Kyaw Zaw, Deputy Director-General, Ministry of National Planning and Economic Development and Dr Nilar Thein, Pro-Rector of University of Computer Studies.

The delegation was seen off at the Yangon International Airport by Ambassador Mr Thambynathan Jasudasen of the Embassy of the Republic of Singapore and heads of department and officials concerned of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
