The visiting Chinese goodwill delegation led by Member of the State Council Mr Tang Jiaxuan of the People’s Republic of China left Nay Pyi Taw for Yangon by special flight on 26 February 2007. The delegation was on a working visit at the invitation of Secretary-1 of the State Peace and Development Council Lt-Gen Thein Sein.

The Chinese goodwill delegation arrived at Nay Pyi Taw Airport by motorcade and they were welcomed by Secretary-1 Lt-Gen Thein Sein and officials. Next, Secretary-1 Lt-Gen Thein presented a documentary album on the goodwill visit to Member of the State Council Mr Tang Jiaxuan of the PRC.

The Chinese goodwill delegation was seen off at Nay Pyi Taw Airport by Secretary-1 Lt-Gen Thein Sein, Minister for Foreign Affairs U Nyan Win, Deputy Minister for Transport Col Nyan Tun Aung, Director-General of the State Peace and Development Council Office Col Kyaw Kyaw Win, Director-General of Protocol Department U Kyaw Kyaw and officials.
