Senior General Than Shwe receives
Indian Vice-President

NAY PYI TAW, 30 July - Chairman of the State Peace and Development
Council of the Union of Myanmar Senior General Than Shwe received Vice-President
of the Republic of India Mr. Mohammad Hamid Ansari at ITC Maurya Hotel in
New Delhi at 4 pm on 27 July.
Also present at the call together with Senior General Than Shwe were SPDC Member General Thura Shwe Mann, SPDC Secretary-1 General Thiha Thura Tin Aung Myint Oo, Minister for Foreign Affairs U Nyan Win and Myanmar Ambassador to the Republic of India U Kyi Thein and together with Indian Vice-President Mr. Mohammad Hamid Ansari were Secretary at Vice-President's Secretariat Shri Shumsher K. Sheriff, Joint Secretary Shri T.S. Tirumurti from Ministry of External Affairs and Joint Secretary at Vice-President's Secretariat Shri P. Harish. |
