NAY PYI TAW, 28 Oct - Vice-President of the Republic
of the Union of Myanmar Thiha Thura U Tin Aung Myint Oo attended the opening
of the 8th China-ASEAN Business and Investment Summit at Li Yuan International
Conference Centre in Nanning of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, the People's
Republic of China, on 21 October morning.
It was also attended by Premier of the State Council of China Mr Wen Jiabao, Prime Minister of Cambodia Samdech Hun Sen, Prime Minister of Malaysia Dato' Sri Mohd Najib bin Tun Haji Abdul Razak, Deputy Prime Minister of Lao People's Democratic Republic Mr Somsavat Lengsavad, Deputy Prime Minister of Thailand Mr Kittiratt Na- Raong, Deputy Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Mr Nguyen Xuan Phuc, ministers, deputy ministers and senior officials of China and ASEAN nations, Secretary-General of ASEAN Dr Surin Pitsuwan, entrepreneurs of China and ASEAN nations, and correspondents of international news agencies. After the opening ceremony, the Myanmar delegation
led by Vice-President Thiha Thura U Tin Aung Myint Oo attended the luncheon
hosted by Premier of the State Council of China Mr Wen Jiabao. MNA |
