Also present at the meeting together with President U Thein Sein were Union Minister for Foreign Affairs U Wunna Maung Lwin, Union Minister for Information and for Culture U Kyaw Hsan, Union Minister at the President Office U Soe Maung, Union Minister for National Planning and Economic Development U Tin Naing Thein and departmental heads.

The Indonesian delegation led by Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. R.M. Marty M. Natalegawa was accompanied by Indonesian Ambassador to the Republic of the Union of Myanmar Mr Sebastianus Sumarsono and officials.

At the meeting, they had a discussion on further strengthening of friendly ties that had been forged on a basis of fine tradition between the two nations and mutual efforts for successful holding of 19th ASEAN Summit, and exchanged views on Myanmar's ASEAN Chairmanship in 2014.
