NAY PYI TAW, 1 Nov - Vice-President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar Thiha Thura U Tin Aung Myint Oo received a delegation led by Special Adviser to the Secretary- General of the United Nations and Under- Secretary-General Mr. Vijay Nambiar at the hall of the President Office, here, at 4 pm today.

Also present at the call together with Vice- President Thiha Thura U Tin Aung Myint Oo were Union Minister for Foreign Affairs U Wunna Maung Lwin and departmental heads. The Special Adviser to the UNSG and Under- Secretary-General and party were accompanied by UN Resident Representative and Humanitarian Coordinator Mr Ramesh Shrestha and senior officers.

They had a cordial discussion on cooperation between Myanmar and the United Nations.
