Min Aung Hlaing meets Chinese Vice-President

NAY PYI TAW, 29 Nov - On his goodwill visit in China, Commanderin- Chief of Defence Services General Min Aung Hlaing met with Vice- Chairman of the Central Military Commission Vice-President of the People's Republic of China Mr Xijinping at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing yesterday morning. They frankly discussed matters related to improvement of Myanmar- China mutual relations, and national reconciliation, peace and stability and developments in Myanmar. Also present at the call together with the Commander-in-Chief were Lt- Gen Hla Htay Win of the Office of the Commander-in-Chief, Lt-Gen Kyaw Swe, Lt-Gen Yar Pyae, Chief of Staff (Navy) Rear-Admiral Thura Thet Swe, Chief of Staff (Air) Maj-Gen Khin Aung Myint, Commander of North-East Command Maj-Gen Aung Kyaw Zaw, Commander of Yangon Command Maj- Gen Hsan Oo, senior officers of the Office of the Commander-in-Chief, the Myanmar ambassador to China, the military attaché and officials and together with the Chinese Vice- President were Deputy Chief of General Staff of People's Liberation Army of China General Ma Xiaotian, Director Qian Li Hua of Foreign Affairs Department of the Ministry of National Defence, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs Liu Zxel Min, Chief of Asian Bureau of Foreign Affairs Department Senior Colonel Wu Xiao Yi and Chinese Military Attaché to Myanmar Senior Colonel Xiong Shao Wei.
