9th ASEAN-India Summit, 6th East Asia Summit

NAY PYI TAW, 22 Nov-President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar U Thein Sein attended the 9th ASEANIndia Summit, the 6th East Asia Summit Plenary Session, and the 6th East Asia Summit Retreat Session at Nusantara-3 Hall of Bali International Convention Centre (BICC) in Bali of Indonesia in the morning and evening on 19 November. President U Thein Sein together with the heads of State/Government of ASEAN member countries, Prime Minister of India Dr Manmohan Singh and the ASEAN secretary- general attended the 9th ASEAN-India Summit at 10.20 am where the State leaders coordinated future prospects after reviewing ASEAN-India relations. President U Thein Sein, the heads of State/Government of ASEAN member countries, Premier of State Council of China Mr Wen Jiabao, Japanese Prime Minister Mr Yoshihiko Noda, ROK President Mr Lee Myung-bak, Indian Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh, US President Mr. Barack Obama, Australian Prime Minister Ms Julia Gillard, special representatives of New Zealand and Russian Federation, ministers and the ASEAN secretary-general attended the 6th East Asia Summit Plenary Session at 12.15 pm. The State leaders reviewed cooperative measures of the summit and future focal points, exchanging views on regional and international affairs. At the summit, the Declaration of the EAS on the
