NAY PYI TAW, 17 June - Daw Aung San Suu Kyi, Daw Khin Khin Win and Ma Win Ma Ma on 11 June appealed to Supreme Court (Yangon) through their lawyers, in dissatisfaction with Yangon Division Court's judgment of confirming Yangon North District Court's decree of turning down the nomination of U Win Tin and U Tin Oo for the district court's criminal case 47/2009 against US citizen Mr John William Yettaw, Daw Aung San Suu Kyi, Daw Khin Khin Win and Ma Win Ma Ma. It is criminal appealing case No. 333 (b)/2009.

As to whether the appealing case should be heard or not, the statements of defence lawyer U Kyi Win were heard at court room No (2) of Supreme Court (Yangon) at 10 am today, and a decree was delivered to hear the case.

Final statements of both sides for the appealing case will be heard at Supreme Court (Yangon).
