YANGON, 27 July - Yangon North District Court heard Criminal Case Nos 47/2009, 48/2009, 49/2009 filed against US citizen Mr John William Yettaw, Daw Aung San Suu Kyi, Daw Khin Khin Win and Ma Win Ma Ma this afternoon.

The court first heard the final arguments of Advocate U Hla Myo Myint defending the accused Daw Khin Khin Win, Ma Win Ma Ma in Criminal Case 47/2009 and of Advocate U Khin Maung Oo defending the accused Mr John William Yettaw in the same case.

The court then heard the final arguments of the district law officer conducting for the plaintiff.

The cases were postponed to 10 am on 28 July so as to hear the complaints of the advocates defending the accused and the final arguments of the rest cases.
