NAY PYI TAW, 5 Dec - Union Minister for Foreign Affairs U Wunna Maung Lwin called on Prime Minister of the People's Republic of Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina, who is currently here on a goodwill visit, at Myat Tawwin Hotel at 6.30 pm today.

On the occasion, both sides cordially discussed and exchanged views on strengthening of bilateral friendship, economic cooperation and international issues. Also present at the call were Director-General of the Protocol Department U Aye Thaw, Director-General of Consular and Legal Affairs Department U Tha Aung Nyunt and Myanmar Ambassador to Bangladesh U Min Lwin. Together with the Bangladeshi Prime Minister were Foreign Minister of Bangladesh Dr Dipu Moni, Bangladeshi Ambassador to Myanmar Maj-Gen Anup Kumar Chakma, ndc, psc and officials.
