President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar U Thein Sein cordially greeting US Senator Mr Addison Mitchell McConnell.-MNA

NAY PYI TAW, 17 Jan-President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar U Thein Sein received a delegation led by US Senator Mr Addison Mitchell McConnell at Credentials Hall of the President Residence here this morning.

Also present together with President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar U Thein Sein were Union Foreign Affairs Minister U Wunna Maung Lwin, Union Minister for Information and for Culture U Kyaw Hsan, Union Minister at the President Office U Soe Maung, Attorney-General of the Union Dr Tun Shin and departmental heads.The US delegation was accompanied by Charge d' affaires of the US Embassy in Myanmar Mr Michael E Thurston.

At the meeting, they had a frank and cordial discussion on political developments of Myanmar and promotion of mutually beneficial cooperation.
