President U Thein Sein receives British Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs

NAY PYI TAW, 5 Jan-President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar U Thein Sein received British Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs Mr William Jefferson Hague and party at the Credentials Hall of the Presidential Residence, here, at 2 pm today.

Also present at the call were Union Minister for Foreign Affairs U Wunna Maung Lwin, Union Minister for Industry U Soe Thein, Union Minister at the President Office U Thein Nyunt, Union Minister for Finance and Revenue U Hla Tun, Union Minister for National Planning and Economic Development U Tin Naing Thein and departmental heads.

The British delegation was accompanied by British Ambassador to the Republic of the Union Myanmar Mr Andrew Richard Heyn.

They focused on political developments in the two countries and mutual cooperation.
