"Every
school-age child in school" and "education
for all" are the mottoes which guide Myanmar's
educational efforts. In order to catch up with the information
age all high schools and even primary schools are being
equipped with computers to help students become familiar
with electronic media. A complementary approach in education
is to develop a healthy moral mind in a healthy active
body. Schools train pupils in moral and social behaviour.
As a further support toward this goal monastic schools
have been revied.
